Description

Indulge in the enchanting Baccolo Bianco Puglia, a white wine that embodies the essence of Apulia, Italy. Crafted by Famiglia Cielo, a winery with a rich heritage, this wine is a testament to their passion and dedication to quality. Made from a carefully selected blend of Apulian varietals, the grapes are lightly dried using the traditional 'appassimento' method, concentrating their flavors and aromas. The result is a dry, yet intensely fruity and floral wine that will tantalize your senses.

Imagine aromas of ripe peaches, honeysuckle, and a hint of Mediterranean herbs dancing in your glass. On the palate, experience a symphony of flavors, from the crispness of green apple to the sweetness of apricot, balanced by a refreshing acidity. The slightly dried grapes lend a subtle richness and complexity, adding depth to the wine's overall character.

Baccolo Bianco Puglia is incredibly versatile, making it the perfect companion for a wide range of dishes. Its bright acidity and fruity notes pair beautifully with seafood, especially grilled fish or shrimp scampi. It also complements light pasta dishes, salads, and creamy cheeses. For a truly authentic Apulian experience, try it with local specialties like orecchiette pasta with broccoli rabe or burrata with roasted tomatoes.

Whether you're hosting a dinner party, enjoying a casual meal with friends, or simply relaxing on your own, Baccolo Bianco Puglia is sure to impress. Its elegant flavor profile and smooth finish make it a crowd-pleaser, while its unique production method and regional character add a touch of sophistication. So, uncork a bottle, pour yourself a glass, and let the taste of Apulia transport you to the sun-drenched vineyards of southern Italy.

Your Notes

Intensely fruity! Peaches and apricot are quite present. I'm learning to identify the 'appassimento' notes... interesting! Acidity is nice.
