Description

Indulge in the timeless allure of the Chianti Classico Riserva Le Bocce. Hailing from the esteemed Fattoria Le Bocce winery, nestled in the heart of Tuscany's Chianti Classico region, this wine embodies the essence of Italian winemaking tradition. Crafted primarily from the Sangiovese grape, this Riserva undergoes meticulous aging to develop its complex character and refined structure.

From the moment you uncork the bottle, you'll be captivated by its enticing aromas. The nose is greeted by a symphony of ripe red cherries, dried cranberries, and a hint of plum, intertwined with subtle notes of leather, tobacco, and earthy undertones. A whisper of spice adds a touch of intrigue, promising a journey for the senses.

On the palate, the Chianti Classico Riserva Le Bocce delivers a harmonious blend of elegance and power. The vibrant fruit flavors take center stage, complemented by well-integrated tannins that provide a velvety texture and a lingering finish. Its balanced acidity ensures a refreshing and food-friendly experience.

This wine is a versatile companion to a wide array of culinary delights. Pair it with classic Italian dishes such as pasta with meat sauce, grilled steak, or roasted game. It also complements aged cheeses and hearty stews beautifully. For a truly unforgettable experience, savor it alongside a traditional Florentine steak or a rich, savory osso buco.

Le Bocce, where tradition meets passion, is located in the heart of Panzano in Chianti, in the Conca d'Oro, on a hill overlooking the town. It is a small family run business, born from the dream of Stefano Farina, owner and winemaker, who since 1990 has been dedicated to producing wines that reflect the territory of Chianti Classico. The vineyards extend for about 7 hectares around the winery, at an altitude of about 300 meters above sea level, on a soil characterized by the presence of alberese and sandstone. The cultivation of the vine is carried out according to the principles of organic agriculture, with the aim of preserving the environment and biodiversity. The wines of Le Bocce are born from a careful selection of the grapes, harvested by hand and vinified with spontaneous fermentations, without the addition of yeasts or enzymes. The aging takes place in oak barrels, for a period that varies according to the vintage and the wine. The result is wines with a strong personality, elegant and balanced, able to express the typical characteristics of the Chianti Classico terroir.

Serving this wine at a temperature of 18°C will allow its aromas and flavors to fully unfold. Consider decanting it 30 minutes prior to serving, especially if it's a more mature vintage, to further enhance its complexity and soften its tannins. This wine is best enjoyed now and over the next 5-7 years.
