Description

Imagine a Pinot Noir that's less about brooding earthiness and more about unabashed fruit-forward pleasure. That's Ménage à Trois Luscious Pinot Noir. Hailing from the sun-drenched vineyards of California, this wine sheds the typical Pinot Noir restraint for a style that's all about captivating your senses. The nose jumps out of the glass with aromas of ripe cherries, sweet raspberries, and a hint of vanilla. It’s a playful and inviting introduction to the wine’s character. On the palate, this Pinot Noir delivers a smooth and velvety texture that glides across your tongue. The flavors echo the aromas, offering a burst of juicy red fruit. There’s a jammy sweetness that’s balanced by a refreshing acidity, preventing it from becoming cloying. The finish is lingering and pleasant, leaving you with a satisfying warmth.Forget the pretense, this Pinot Noir is all about pure enjoyment. It's a versatile food partner, pairing beautifully with a wide range of dishes. Its fruit-forward profile makes it a natural match for grilled salmon, roasted chicken, or even a mushroom risotto. The touch of sweetness also allows it to hold its own with slightly spicy dishes, like a Thai curry or a Mexican mole. For those who crave something unexpected, try it chilled with a dark chocolate dessert. The wine's fruitiness will complement the chocolate's richness, creating a decadent and unforgettable experience. This Ménage à Trois is perfect for casual gatherings, relaxed dinners, or simply unwinding after a long day. So, open a bottle, pour yourself a glass, and let the lusciousness take over.

Your Notes

Quite fruity! Raspberry and cherry, as promised. Smooth tannins. It's a bit too sweet for my taste but would pair well with grilled salmon.
