This wine is from the Ratti winery, an estate rich in history and tradition. Renato Ratti was the pioneer who laid the foundations for a modern interpretation of Barolo. In 1965, he left a successful career at Martini & Rossi in Brazil to return to La Morra and dedicate himself to wine production. He purchased the family's estate, the Marcenasco estate, on the summit of the hill of the same name, which had been used for wine production since the late 1800s. Today, Ratti's wines, including this exceptional Barolo, continue to embody the passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to quality that have defined the winery for generations. The winery is now run by Renato's son, Pietro Ratti, who carefully keeps the traditions.
