White wine | South Eastern Australia
Lindeman's Bin 65 Chardonnay is a globally celebrated Australian classic, first launched in 1985 and synonymous with consistent, approachable quality. Crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in the sun-drenched vineyards of South Eastern Australia, this wine captures the essence of a 'sunshine-filled world of positivity.' On the nose, it offers an inviting bouquet of tropical fruits—think rockmelon and peach—complemented by delicate notes of fig and subtle, toasty French oak. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and harmoniously balanced, avoiding excessive oakiness to favor a creamy, fruit-forward profile with refreshing citrus undertones. The finish is notably clean and crisp, making it an incredibly versatile 'all-rounder' that pairs beautifully with a variety of cuisines. Whether you are hosting a casual dinner with friends or enjoying a quiet moment at home, this wine is a perfect companion. It excels when paired with seafood dishes like cod papillote, creamy pasta, roast chicken, or even light vegetarian gnocchi. Because of its approachable, easy-drinking nature, it is a fantastic choice for those who value consistency and simple, vibrant drinking pleasure. Simply chill it to around 9°C, and it is ready to elevate your meal.
A solid, affordable Chardonnay. Peach and citrus notes, refreshing, but not my usual style. Good value for the price. Reminds me of Yellow Tail Chardonnay.
